Galvanised Steel Gutters

Galvanised Steel Guttering is manufactured in Sweden from sheet steel and is considered more durable and environmentally acceptable than PVC. It is easy to assemble and install and has excellent performance. Steel is the ultimate material for roof-drainage and rainwater systems as it is much lighter than cast iron guttering, is easier to handle than cast aluminium guttering and offers minimal thermal movement compared to plastic (which can move and crack causing leaks).

Installation is straight forward – no specialist tools or skills are required; gutters and downpipes simply push together without the need for any sealants. In addition, galvanised steel guttering also has the benefit of low maintenance. The only maintenance required is an occasional wipe or wash down. Steel rainwater systems are also available in a choice of 10 standard colours (high-build polyester paint finishes) as well as plain galvanised and Aluzinc-coated finishes. Coated finishes are UV stable – will not crack or fade. Finally, galvanised steel gutters are a cost effective solution, being competitively priced as compared with the leading plastic systems and less expensive compared with aluminium and cast iron alternatives.
